Transaxle NVH Shield

Disable the high voltage electrical system. For additional information, refer to GENERAL PROCEDURES .
Remove the rear transmission insulator bracket. For additional information, refer to TRANSAXLE SUPPORT INSULATOR - REAR .
Remove the wiring harness retainer and selector lever cable from the studs.

Remove the NVH shield stud.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

Remove the 2 transaxle harness electrical connector bracket bolts.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

Remove the stud bolt and disconnect the transaxle harness electrical connector.
- To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

Remove the 2 nuts from the bottom of the NVH shield.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

Remove the NVH shield.
To install, reverse removal procedure.
