Crankshaft Front Seal: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING -- ESCAPE, ESCAPE HYBRID, MARINER & MARINER HYBRID .
  2. Remove the crankshaft pulley. For additional information, refer to CRANKSHAFT PULLEY .
  3. Using the Oil Seal Remover, remove and discard the crankshaft front seal.
