Anti-Lock Brake System Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU)

NOTE: This procedure only needs to be performed if the anti-lock brake hydraulic control unit (HCU) has been replaced or if air is suspected in the HCU.
  1. Carry out the brake system bleeding procedure. For additional information, refer to BRAKE SYSTEM BLEEDING .
  2. Connect the diagnostic tool DCL cable adapter into the vehicle data link connector (DLC) under the dash, and follow the diagnostic tool instructions.
  3. Repeat the brake system bleeding procedure. For additional information, refer to BRAKE SYSTEM BLEEDING .
