Pinpoint Test D: Adjustable Pedal Moves Forward Only

  1. D1 ISOLATE THE SWITCH 
    • Disconnect: Adjustable Pedal Switch C2089.
    • Measure the resistance between the adjustable pedal switch terminals 1 and 6, component side.

    • Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? 
    • Yes  : GO to D2.
    • No  : INSTALL a new adjustable pedal switch. TEST the system for normal operation.
  2. D2 CHECK THE GROUND CIRCUIT FOR OPEN 
    • Measure the resistance between adjustable pedal C2089 pin 6, circuit 57 (BK), harness side and ground.

    • Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? 
    • Yes  : GO to SYMPTOM CHARTS .
    • No  : REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
