Motor Electronics Coolant Expansion Tank

  1. Drain the Motor Electronics Cooling System (MECS). For additional information, refer to MOTOR ELECTRONICS COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING AND FILLING .
  2. Remove the nut and the bolt and position the MECS  coolant expansion tank aside.
    • To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).

  3. Compress the constant tension clamp and remove the MECS  hose from the coolant expansion tank.

  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
