Seat Backrest Latch - Rear: Removal

All vehicles

Remove the parcel shelf from the rear of the vehicle to access the rear backrest latch nuts. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
Access the luggage compartment, detach the trim pin-type retainer and position the trim aside.
NOTE: Make sure the affected backrest is released.

Non-hybrid vehicles
Remove the 2 nuts and detach the latch release handle bracket.
Detach the 2 pin-type retainers and latch cable assembly.
- Note the cable routing for installation.
Detach the release cable from the latch and remove.
All vehicles
Remove the backrest latch.

Remove the 2 nuts and backrest latch.
