Extension Housing Gasket - 4X2: Removal

- Remove the driveshaft. For additional information, refer to DRIVESHAFT .
- Remove the output shaft flange.
- Remove and discard the output shaft flange bolt.
- Remove the output shaft flange.
- Remove the transmission rear crossmember support insulator nuts.
- Install a suitable transmission jack.
- Remove the transmission rear crossmember support insulator bolts.
- Remove the rear transmission mount.
- Raise the transmission upward, from the rear crossmember support.
- Remove the rear transmission mount.
- Disconnect the output shaft speed (OSS) sensor electrical connector.
- Using the special tool, remove and discard the output shaft nut.
- Remove the bolts and the transmission extension housing.
- Remove the bolts and the transmission extension housing.
- Remove and discard the extension housing gasket.
