Inertia Fuel Shutoff (IFS) Switch

Ensure ignition switch is turned to OFF position. Locate IFS switch. See INERTIA FUEL SHUTOFF (IFS) SWITCH LOCATION table. Shake or jar IFS switch to cause switch to open. IFS switch reset button should pop up. Fuel pump should not operate and car should stall. Push down on reset button. Restart engine. Fuel pump should operate.
