DTC P007C: Charge Air Cooler Temperature Sensor Circuit Low (Bank 1)

DTC P007C: CHARGE AIR COOLER TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT LOW (BANK 1)

Description:	The powertrain control module (PCM) continuously monitors the CACT circuit for concerns. The test fails when the temperature is greater than the calibrated value for the sensor or an open or short to ground is detected in the circuit.
Possible Causes:	Damaged turbocharger boost pressure (TCBP)/charge air cooler temperature (CACT) sensor CACT circuit short to ground Low air flow through the charge air cooler (CAC) Damaged harness connector Damaged harness
Diagnostic Aids:	Check the harness for intermittent concerns, poor connection, routing, alterations and damage due to contact with other components. The TCBP/CACT sensor is a dual function pressure and temperature sensor located on the intake air tube between the CAC and the throttle body.
