Transmission Fluid Cooler Tubes - TorqShift: Removal

All vehicles
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING article.
- Remove the push pin retainers and the splash shield.
- Remove the screws and the lower air deflector.
- Remove the transmission fluid cooler tubes from the transmission case.
- Remove the transmission fluid cooler tubes from the transmission case.
- Remove the secondary latch from the transmission fluid cooler hose.
- Using the special tool, disconnect the transmission fluid cooler hose.
- Disconnect the transmission fluid cooler hose from the radiator in-tank.
- Remove the transmission fluid cooler tube rear bracket.
- Disconnect the transmission fluid cooler hose from the radiator fitting.
- Disconnect the transmission fluid cooler hose from the transmission fluid cooler tube.
- Remove the nut, the transmission fluid cooler tube bracket and the transmission fluid cooler tubes from the vehicle.
- Remove the nut for the transmission fluid cooler tubes and starter motor electrical harness front bracket, and move the bracket aside.
- Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES article.
- Remove the starter motor solenoid terminal cover.
- Disconnect the starter motor electrical connections.
- Disconnect the starter motor electrical harness push pin, and move the harness to the front of the vehicle.
- Remove the transmission fluid cooler tubes from the vehicle.
