Oil Pump: Installation

    NOTE: Install the gears with marks pointing outward.
  1. Lubricate the inner gear with clean engine oil and install onto the crankshaft. Lubricate the outer gear with clean engine oil and mesh with the inner gear rotor in the oil pump housing.

    NOTE: Install a new O-ring seal.
  3. Install the oil pump cover and 5 bolts.
    • Tighten to 13 Nm (115 lb-in).

  5. Install the crankshaft front seal. For additional information, refer to Crankshaft Front Seal .
