Turbocharger Inlet Y-Pipe: Removal

  1. Remove the engine cover. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION article.
  2. Remove the LH turbocharger inlet Y-pipe-to-exhaust manifold bolts and nuts.
    • Discard the nuts.

  4. Remove the RH turbocharger inlet Y-pipe-to-exhaust manifold bolts and nuts.
    • Discard the nuts.

    NOTE: There is metal gasket between the exhaust inlet pipe and the EGR cooler.
  6. Remove the turbocharger inlet Y-pipe-to-EGR cooler clamp.
    • Discard the gasket.

  8. Remove the turbocharger-to-turbocharger inlet Y-pipe clamp.

  10. Carefully remove the turbocharger inlet Y-pipe assembly from the vehicle.
