Instrument Cluster (IC): Removal

  1. If installing a new instrument cluster (IC), upload the module configuration information to the scan tool. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION article.
  2. Lower the tilt steering column to the lowest position.
  3. Pull the instrument cluster (IC) finish panel straight out to release the retainer clips and remove the finish panel.
    • Disconnect the instrument panel dimmer switch electrical connector and the ambient air temperature sensor (if equipped).
  4. Remove the 4 instrument cluster (IC) screws and the instrument cluster (IC).
    • Disconnect the electrical connector.
