Differential Seals - LH: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING article.
  2. Remove the transaxle drain plug and drain the fluid.
  3. Fig 1: Transaxle Drain Plug

  4. Remove the LH halfshaft. For additional information, refer to FRONT DRIVE HALFSHAFTS article.
  5. Using the special tools, remove and discard the LH differential seal.
