Removal And Installation

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING article.
Remove the outer tie-rod end. For additional information, refer to Tie Rod End - Outer .
Remove the tie-rod end jam nut.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
Remove the 2 steering gear boot clamps and the steering gear boot.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
