Removal and Installation

    Dual rear wheel brake disc 

    NOTE: The brake disc is part of the hub on all dual rear wheel axle applications.
  1. Remove the hub assembly. For additional information on the Dana axle, refer to HUB . For additional information on the Ford axle, refer to HUB
  2. Remove the disc-to-hub bolts.

  3. Single rear wheel brake disc 

    CAUTION: When removing the brake caliper, never allow it to hang from the brake flexible hose. Provide a suitable support.

  4. Remove the anchor plate bolts and the brake caliper and anchor plate assembly.
  5. Separate the brake disc from the hub.
  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
