Rear Brake Caliper: Installation

  1. Position the brake caliper and install the 2 brake caliper bolts.
    • For F-250, F-350 single rear wheel caliper, tighten to 35 Nm (26 lb-ft).
    • For F-350 dual rear wheel caliper, tighten to 76 Nm (56 lb-ft).
    • For F-450, F-550 dual rear wheel caliper, tighten to 62 Nm (46 lb-ft).

  2. Position the brake flexible hose, install the brake caliper flow bolt and 2 new copper washers.

  3. Bleed the brake system. For additional information, refer to BRAKE SYSTEM BLEEDING .
