P1260 - THEFT DETECTED, VEHICLE IMMOBILIZED
| Description: | The transaxle control module (TCM) monitors the controller area network (CAN) bus for a Key Status - Enable message from the powertrain control module (PCM) during the power up sequence. If this message is not received within a set amount of time, this DTC is set and the transaxle is disabled. | |||

| Diagnostic Aids: | Make sure the remote transmitter is correctly programmed. Diagnose all PATS and PCM DTCs first. For PATS DTCs refer to ANTI-THEFT - PATS - HYBRID . For PCM DTCs, refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) CHARTS AND DESCRIPTIONS . If no other DTCs are present, the system is operating correctly at this time. Clear the DTCs. Repeat the self-test. | |||
