The brake pressure transducer is attached to the brake master cylinder and they are serviced as an assembly. The transducer provides the trailer brake control (TBC) module with the current brake pressure information. The TBC module supplies voltage to the transducer along circuit 3602 (TN/YE) and ground along circuit 3600 (RD/WH). The voltage returned from the transducer along circuit 3601 (WH/RD) is used by the TBC module to determine current brake pressure.
Possible Causes
- Circuit open
- Circuit shorted
- Electrical connector(s)
- Pressure transducer
- Pressure switch
