Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Heater Element - 5.4L: Removal

- Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES article.
- Disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) heater element electrical connector.
- Disconnect the quick connect couplings and remove the PCV tube. For additional information refer to FUEL SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION - GASOLINE AND DIESEL article.
- Remove the bolts and the PCV heater element.
- Discard the O-ring seal.
