Preliminary Checks

- Verify battery condition.
- Inspect accessory drive belt and tensioner.
- Inspect Gray fusible links "A" and "B" (in harness, near battery junction box).
- Inspect battery junction box ALT fuse (20-amp).
- Inspect central junction box fuse No. 5 (15-amp).
- Check all connections for looseness or corrosion.
