Removal & Installation (Column Shift)

CAUTION: DO NOT use excessive force when installing radio remover. Excessive force will damage retaining clips and make control panel removal difficult.
  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Tilt steering column to lowest position. Remove upper and lower steering column covers. Remove instrument cluster finish panel. Push in Radio Remover (T87P-19061-A) into integrated control panel face plate about 1.5" (38.1 mm) to release retaining clips. Disconnect integrated control panel harness connectors and remove integrated control panel.
  2. Remove instrument cluster retaining screws. Disconnect transmission range indicator cable from column selector tube. Pull top part of instrument cluster toward steering wheel. Disconnect instrument cluster harness connectors. Remove instrument cluster. To install, reverse removal procedure.
