Hydro-Boost Unit: Removal

  1. With engine off, discharge accumulator by depressing brake pedal several times. Disconnect battery ground cable. Disconnect fluid level sensor connector. Remove clutch cable bracket bolt.
  2. Disconnect brake lines. Disconnect power steering hoses. Remove stoplight switch and booster push rod from brake pedal pin. Remove booster mounting nuts. Remove hydro-boost assembly. See Figure.
