Power Brake Booster: Removal

  1. Remove master cylinder. See MASTER CYLINDER .
  2. On models with speed control, disconnect speed control unit and lower unit so it does not interfere with booster removal.
  3. Disconnect hydraulic brake lines from master cylinder. Depress clip and remove pin from brake booster actuator rod. Disconnect brake actuator rod.
  4. Remove booster-to-dash panel nuts. Remove brake booster and gasket.
