Test Y: Driver-Side Air Bag Circuit Resistance Low Or Shorted Together (DTC B1887): Description

RCM monitors driver-side air bag circuit for shorts to ground at connector C424, terminals No. 2 (Green/Red wire) and No. 3 (Black/Orange wire). If RCM detects a short to ground, it will store DTC B1887 in memory and flash Code 3 on AIR BAG warning light.
