Test K: Left-Side Air Bag Circuit Short To Battery (DTC B1992): Description

RCM checks left-side air bag module circuit for shorts to battery by monitoring connector C423, terminals No. 15 (Green/Black wire) and No. 16 (Black/Green wire). If RCM detects a short to battery, it will store DTC B1992 in memory and flash Code 5 on AIR BAG warning light.
