Test AE: Right-Side Air Bag Circuit Short To Ground (DTC B1997): Description

RCM monitors resistance to ground at connector C423, terminals No. 23 (Green/Red wire) and No. 24 (Black/Orange wire). If RCM detects resistance less than 1000 ohms, it will store DTC B1997 in memory and flash Code 6 on AIR BAG warning light.
