Test H: Temperature Set Point Does Not Repeat After Turning Ignition Off

- Check Memory Backup Supply To EATC Module
Turn ignition off. Disconnect EATC module connector C280. With a voltmeter, measure voltage of Red/White wire between EATC module connector C280 and ground. If voltage is more than 10 volts, replace EATC module. Retest system. If voltage is less than 10 volts, go to next step. - Check Red/White Wire For Open
Remove fuse No. 2 (5-amp) located in instrument panel fuse box. With an ohmmeter, measure resistance of Red/White wire between EATC module connector C280 and right terminal of fuse No. 2 fuse box socket. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace EATC module. Retest system. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open in Red/White wire. Retest system.
