Generic Electronic Module/Central Timer Module (Gem/CTM): Notes

CAUTION: Disconnect battery before disconnecting GEM or CTM connectors. Failure to do so will result in GEM/CTM storing erroneous codes and may also result in erratic operation of GEM/CTM after reconnection.

CAUTION: If replacing GEM/CTM, it is necessary to upload module configuration information to the New Generation STAR (NGS) tester. After installation this information needs to be downloaded into the new GEM/CTM module.
