Test E: DTC C1194/1196, C1198/1200, C1202/1204, C1206/1208, C1210/1212, C1214/1216 - Isolation Valve Or Dump Valve: Testing

  1. Turn ignition off. Connect NGS or scan tool. Clear all DTCs and recheck. If only one isolation valve, dump valve DTC is set, replace ABCM. Clear DTCs and road test vehicle on rough roads and through car wash. Recheck system operation. If more than one isolation valve, dump valve DTC is set, go to next step. If no DTCs are set, road test vehicle on rough roads and through car wash. Recheck system operation.
  2. Turn ignition off. Disconnect ABCM connector containing Orange/Yellow wire. Check voltage between ABCM connector Orange/Yellow wire terminal and ground. If voltage is more than 10 volts, replace ABCM. Clear DTCs and road test vehicle on rough roads and through car wash. Recheck system operation. If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair Orange/Yellow wire circuit. Also, check fuse No. 14 (60-amp) in power distribution center in left side of engine compartment. Clear DTCs and road test vehicle on rough roads and through car wash. Recheck system operation.
