Hub & Wheel Bearings: Installation

To install, remove all burrs, nicks or scratches from shoulder of spindle and seal bore in hub using emery cloth. Fill inside of hub, flush with inside diameter of bearing outer races, with lithium-based grease. Install bearings and NEW seal. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Install NEW cotter pin. Adjust wheel bearings. See WHEEL BEARING ADJUSTMENT  under ADJUSTMENTS & INSPECTION. Tighten bolts and nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
