Valve Lifter: Installation
- If assembling valve lifter, coat all components with engine oil and reassemble. To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure valve lifter and valve lifter bore in cylinder block are coated with engine oil before installing. Valve lifter must be installed in original location.
- Install cylinder head using proper procedure. See CYLINDER HEAD table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS.
