Air Bag Diagnostic Monitor: Notes
WARNING:
To avoid accidental deployment and possible personal injury, backup power supply must be depleted before repairing or replacing any air bag restraint system components. Disconnect battery and, if equipped, auxiliary power supplies. Wait one minute for backup power supply energy to deplete.
CAUTION:
For proper operation, it is critical to tighten air bag diagnostic monitor bolts to specification.
NOTE:
Electronic Crash Sensor (ECS) module may also be referred to as air bag diagnostic module, air bag diagnostic monitor or Restraints Control Module (RCM).
