Cleaning & Inspection

Clean all components in solvent. Allow bearings to air dry. Inspect all machined surfaces for smoothness. Inspect all gear teeth for wear or chipping. Check all bearings and races for nicks, roller end wear, grooves or damage. Replace as needed. Check pinion flange for wear in sealing area. Check differential pinion shaft, pinion gears, side gears and thrust washers for wear or damage. Check anti-lock brake sensor ring for broken or missing teeth. Replace defective parts.
