Removal & Installation
- On Excursion and Super Duty Pickup, with engine off, pump brake pedal several times to discharge Hydro-Boost accumulator. On all others, disconnect brake warning light indicator wire from indicator switch. With engine off, depress brake pedal to bleed vacuum from brake booster.
- Disconnect brakelines at master cylinder. Remove nuts retaining master cylinder to brake booster. Remove master cylinder. To install, reverse removal procedure. Bleed brakes. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM .
