Removal & Installation (Diesel)

NOTE: Vacuum pump is serviced only as a unit. Vacuum pump pulley can be replaced separately.

Remove hose from vacuum pump outlet. Remove vacuum pump belt. Remove pivot and adjustment bolts. Remove vacuum pump. To install, reverse removal procedure. Brake warning light comes on until vacuum builds up to normal level. See Figure.
