Removal (All Models Except Excursion)

Raise and support vehicle.
Remove the nuts from both lower ends of the stabilizer bar links and remove the washers. See Fig 1 and Figure .

Remove the nuts and washers from both upper ends of the stabilizer bar links-to-frame and remove the links. See Fig 2 and Figure .

On Super Duty F250, F350 Ford Axle, remove the nuts from both stabilizer bar retainer-to-axle brackets and remove the stabilizer bar retainers, stabilizer bar mounting brackets, U-bolts and the stabilizer bar. On Super Duty F350, Dana Axle and Motorhome Chassis, remove the nuts and washers from both upper ends of the stabilizer bar link-to-frame and remove the stabilizer bar. See Fig 3 and Figure .
