Abs Misfire, Too Sensitive, Engages On Normal Stop

Possible causes include the following:

• Damaged sensor rings. Inspect for damage.
• Weak sensor output. If left front sensor is weak, see TEST G  under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS. If right front sensor is weak, see TEST I . If rear axle sensor is weak, go to TEST K  under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS.
• Intermittent open or shorted sensor circuit. Perform intermittent diagnosis for circuits No. 514 (Yellow/Red wire), No. 516 (Yellow/Black wire), No. 521 (Tan/Orange wire), No. 522 (Tan/Black wire), No. 532 (Orange/Yellow wire) and No. 530 (Light Green/Yellow wire).
• Damaged wiring. Inspect wiring harness from sensors to frame for wear and chafing.
• Grabby linings or rear brakes adjusted too tight. Repair or replace mechanical parts as needed.
