Removal and Installation

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING .
If equipped, remove the 3 bolts and position the anti-lock brake system (ABS) sensor wire aside.

Using suitable jack stands, support the front axle assembly.

NOTE: Tighten the shock absorber bolt when the suspension is at curb height.

Remove and discard the shock absorber lower bolt.

NOTE: Tighten the radius arm nuts and bolts when the suspension is at curb height.

Remove and discard the radius arm front nuts and bolts.

NOTE: Tighten the radius arm nut and bolt when the suspension is at curb height.

Remove and discard the radius arm rear nut and bolt, then remove the radius arm.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Tighten all suspension fasteners with the suspension at curb height.
