Steering Column

The steering system consists of a steering wheel that encases the air bag module. The steering wheel is attached to the steering column assembly with a single retaining bolt. The steering gear pinion is connected to the steering column through a flexible coupling. The coupling is fixed to the pinion with a pinch bolt and to the column with a clamp plate and bolt.
