Test N: Air Bag Secondary Warning Indicator Circuit Short To Ground Or Open (DTC B1892): Description

RCM monitors its connection to instrument cluster at RCM connector terminal No. 26 (Black/Green wire). This connection is used to turn on and off a Light Emitting Diode (LED) if primary AIR BAG warning light is inoperative and another air bag system fault exists. If RCM detects a short or open on connection to instrument cluster, it will store DTC B1892 in memory.
