Removal and Installation (Escape)

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Partially drain the engine coolant.
  2. Remove the three bolts and separate the coolant outlet adapter from the thermostat housing.

    3. NOTE: The thermostat is indexed and must be installed correctly.

  3. Remove the thermostat and the O-ring seal.
    4. NOTE: Clean and inspect the sealing surfaces.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
