Removal and Installation

  1. Drain the engine cooling system. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING .
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information refer to JACKING & HOISTING .
  3. Remove the lower splash shields.

  4. Disconnect the lower radiator hose and the Degas return hose.

  5. Remove the lower center support bolt.

  6. Lower the vehicle.
  7. Disconnect the remaining coolant hose connections.

  8. Position the hood latch assemble out of the way. .

  9. Remove the two bolts and the center support.

  10. Remove the two top bolts retaining the cooling fan to the radiator.

  11. Remove the upper radiator support brackets, and remove the radiator from the vehicle.

  12. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
