Fuel System Pressure Release
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
WARNING:
CNG fuel systems are always pressurized to 100 psi (7 kg/cm2
) from the fuel pressure regulator to the compuvalve. CNG and LPG fuel systems are kept up to 3000 psi (211 kg/cm2
) upstream of the fuel pressure regulator. Use care when servicing CNG and LPG fuel systems.
CNG and LPG fuel pressure must be released prior to any fuel system service. To release CNG or LPG fuel pressure, see FUEL SYSTEM VENTING in REMOVAL, OVERHAUL & INSTALLATION - CNG/LPG (BI-FUEL) article. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.
