Contour (Fuel Line Venting)

  1. Place ALT/GAS mode switch in ALT mode (CNG). DO NOT close the quarter turn valve. Remove fuel cylinder shield from trunk area. Disconnect electrical connector from fuel cylinder. Start and run engine at idle until engine automatically switches over to GAS mode.
  2. Run engine, if necessary, at high idle (about 1500 RPM) to encourage ALT/GAS switchover. ALT/GAS switchover should occur within 60 seconds. Once engine switches over or stalls, disconnect negative battery cable. Raise and support the vehicle. Slowly open fitting that requires servicing and allow any trapped gas to escape.
