Exhaust Manifold - RH: Installation

- Inspect the RH exhaust manifold gasket mating surfaces for flatness. For additional information, refer to ENGINE SYSTEM-GENERAL INFORMATION .
- Install 6 new RH exhaust manifold studs.
- Tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).
- Position a new RH exhaust manifold gasket and the RH exhaust manifold and install 6 new nuts.
- Tighten the nuts in the sequence shown to 25 Nm (18 lb-in).
- Position the engine lifting eye and install the nuts.
- Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
- Attach the dual converter Y-pipe and install the 2 nuts.
- Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
- Connect the HO2S electrical connector.
- Attach the exhaust manifold-to-EGR system module to the exhaust manifold.
- Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
