Disassembly And Assembly Of Subassemblies: Piston: Disassembly

  1. Remove the piston rings.

  2. Using the special tool, press the piston pin out of the connecting rod and piston assembly.

  3. Remove the connecting rod from the piston.

  4. Clean and inspect the connecting rod and piston. For additional information, refer to ENGINE SYSTEM-GENERAL INFORMATION .
