Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the upper intake manifold. For additional information, refer to ENGINE - 4.2L .
  2. Disconnect the intake manifold runner control (IMRC) electrical connector.
  3. Disconnect the IMRC actuator rods.
  4. Remove the bolts and the IMRC actuator.
    • To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
