Removal and Installation

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
Remove the accessory drive belt.
If equipped, remove the 2 bolts and position the power steering fluid cooler aside.
- To install, tighten to 11 Nm (8 lb-ft).

Loosen the A/C compressor bolts enough to slide the A/C compressor down 25 mm (1 in), to allow access to the CKP sensor.

Disconnect the CKP sensor electrical connector.
Remove the bolt and the CKP sensor.
- To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
To install, reverse the removal procedure
