  • Loss of coolant
  • Radiator.
  • Coolant pump seal.
  • Radiator hoses.
  • Heater hoses/tubes.
  • Heater core.
  • Engine gaskets.
  • Positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose joint.
  • Degas bottle.
  • Water outlet tube joint.
  • Water crossover joint.
  • Heater return tube joint.
  • Oil filter adapter joint.
  • The engine overheats
  • Thermostat.
  • Coolant pump.
  • Internal engine coolant leak.
  • Radiator.
  • Cooling fan.
  • Pressure relief cap.
  • Under fill.
  • The engine does not reach normal operating temperature
  • Thermostat.
  • Cooling fan.
  • The block heater does not operate correctly
  • Block heater power cable.
  • CHECK continuity in all 3 power cable circuits. If any circuit measures greater than 5 ohms, INSTALL a new power cable.
  • Block heater.
  • INSTALL a new block heater.
